Everyone is welcome to stroll through the park. Note: No horses or motorcycles are allowed.
The park has been established for the planting of trees and a place for memories - it is not a cemetery and further embellishments will not be allowed.
No one is to create new tracks or paths.
Selection of a site and choice of suitable tree for the site is made in consultation with the Park's Custodian.
The cost of a site includes a river stone plinth. Memorial plaque is at your cost. Cost per site $250 (minimum donation)
The erection of a memorial plaque or the planting of a tree does not imply ownership of any part of the park. Everything at the park remains in the ownership of the Forest of Memories through the Rotary Club of Waipukurau.
Plantings are supervised with a photographic record taken.
Pruning or tree surgery is done in consultation with the custodian.
Care of tree and close surrounds is encouraged as long as it's in keeping with the sympathy of the Park.
Watering of trees is your responsibility.
If you wish to install seating, approval must be given by the Park Custodian.
Forest of Memories is indeed a special place.
